THE PRIZE & THE RECOGNITION
The Tusker trophy recognises outstanding enterprise. Winners receive public recognition at the Profit Tusker Business Summit after an independent, multi-stage assessment.
Branding, media and visibility packages are separate from judging and do not influence award results.

From emerging businesses to established organisations, entries are assessed within their peer group.
Recognition spans the following sectors. Specific categories are selected within each award section.
Open to legally operating Indian businesses, institutions, NGOs and professional bodies, including startups, MSMEs, family businesses, partnerships, LLPs, companies and Indian subsidiaries of multinational organisations. Professionals may be nominated in individual leadership categories.
Up to 50 employees
1–7 years
Proprietorship, LLP, private limited or partnership; regional or single-state operations.
51–250 employees
5–15 years
LLP, private limited or registered MSME; multi-city or multi-state presence.
251–2,500 employees
8–25 years
Private limited, public limited or listed SME; national or significant regional reach.
2,500+ employees in India
15+ years, or a recognised group subsidiary
Public limited, listed entity, MNC or conglomerate; presence in 3+ states or internationally.
Segments are self-declared and supported by financial and legal documents. Incorrect declarations can lead to disqualification.
Check completeness, eligibility and the declared company segment.
Assess shortlisted entries against the relevant award criteria.
Verify the documents and claims submitted by nominees.
An independent panel makes the final award decisions.
Notify winners and recognise them at the Profit Tusker Business Summit.
The panel brings together industry veterans, academics, former regulators, investors and analysts. Jury decisions are final.

Submit a separate entry for each category, with the organisation and authorised contact details, chosen sector and segment, key achievements, innovation narrative, three-year financial snapshot and previous recognition.
Testimonials, case studies, growth data, research and independent reports can support the entry.
Use PDFs, named by company and document type, in one ZIP of up to 50 MB. Larger bundles may use a shared link. Non-English documents need certified English translations.
